Clinician-guided care, personalized to you.
GLP-1 medications work with the body's own appetite and blood sugar signaling. For women in menopause, whose hormonal signals have shifted, pairing that mechanism with clinician oversight is what makes treatment sustainable.
That's the care model Kina is built on.

Frequently asked questions.
Straight answers about eligibility, safety, and how compounded GLP-1 treatment works.
01Do I qualify for a GLP-1?
Eligibility depends on your health profile, BMI, and medical history. A licensed clinician reviews your intake and recommends the option that fits your health profile. Not everyone will be prescribed a GLP-1.
02How much weight can I expect to lose?
Results vary by individual and depend on your health profile, medication, and lifestyle changes. Your clinician will set realistic expectations based on your specific situation during your consultation.
03What's the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide targets two hunger hormones (GLP-1 and GIP). Semaglutide targets GLP-1 only and is more affordable at $199/mo vs $249/mo. Your provider helps you choose the right option based on your health profile.
04Is this safe for women in menopause?
GLP-1 medications are widely prescribed for women in perimenopause and menopause. Your clinician will review your full medical history before prescribing.
05How are the medications prepared?
Our medications are compounded by licensed, highly rated U.S. pharmacies. Compounding means a pharmacy prepares a personalized medication for you based on your prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Compounding allows for customized dosing tailored to your needs, and every prescription is individually reviewed by a licensed clinician based on your medical history.
06What about nausea?
Nausea is the most common side effect during the first 1–2 months as your body adjusts. That's why anti-nausea medication (Zofran) is included free for your first two months. Most patients find it resolves as they titrate up.
07What is the important safety information?
GLP-1 medications may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach pain. They are not suitable for everyone, including those with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2 syndrome. Your clinician will review all risks and contraindications based on your medical history. Services are provided by independently licensed providers affiliated with Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC.
08Who provides my care?
Our clinical providers are Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC, located at 300 Lenora Street, Seattle, WA 98121. They can be contacted at medicalcompliance@arorahealthgroup.com. Visit arora-health.com for more information.
09Is Kina available in my state?
Services are available only in jurisdictions where affiliated medical providers are licensed to practice and where pharmacy partners are authorized to dispense medications. Availability may vary by state and is subject to applicable laws, regulations, and licensure requirements.
Menopause
changed the rules.
Now there's a real
plan.
It was never about willpower. Hormonal shifts change the equation, and this is care that actually accounts for that.
